Studio A Rates

Rentals of Studio A include access to the main breakroom, two wardrobe-and-make-up rooms, and the production office. Prep and shoot days include a charge of $150 for the services of the Studio Manager. Shoot days include a $60 power allowance.

Note that lights, crew, painting, set storage, and equipment (other than a 16-foot ladder) charges are not included in the rental. Make sure to discuss your lighting, equipment, and crew needs with us before closing your production budget.

Things to know about Studio A:

  • 57' x 59' with corner cyc wall (117 running feet)
  • 18' grid height
  • (4) Cable Portals for Outside Power and Communication Access
  • Stage is painted white. Ask about other colors and restoration charges.
  • Cyc lights are included with studio lighting packages. Otherwise, they are billed as used.
  • Rates are for stage rentals only and do not reflect crew rates and other incidentals.
  • Cleaning charges will be billed to anyone leaving their area not as it was when they arrived.

Studio Lighting Packages

Two different Studio Grip & Lighting Packages are available to rent with Studio A. Each package is meant to provide a good starting point for your Grip and Electric needs, offering you the opportunity to add on to suit your specific production without having to list out the basics. Nine cyclorama lights are rigged above both cyc walls in Studio A and are included with the rental of either Grip & Lighting Package.

The Large Studio Grip & Lighting Package Includes four of each tungsten lights from a 2K Fresnel down, flags, stands, grip hardware, and electrical distribution. This package is based on a 5-Ton Tungsten truck package and was designed with the lighting needs and size of Studio A in mind.

The Small Studio Grip & Lighting Package Includes two of each tungsten lights from a 2K Fresnel down, flags, stands, grip hardware, and electrical distribution. This package is based on a 1-Ton Tungsten truck package and was designed with the lighting needs of the smaller Studio B in mind.
